Yes! Let’s Defeat Goliath Together

Fathers in the Field’s Heroes are facing the Goliath of our time – the REAL PAIN and damaging effects of fatherlessness.

Even as we battle a formidable foe, the rampant epidemic of fatherlessness that is decimating families, communities, and our nation, we have the privilege to share in life’s ups and downs, grieve together as we witness the deep-seated pain and loss in a fatherless boy’s eyes, and we rejoice as one when we see trust restored, forgiveness granted, and the light of hope uplift a broken heart.

Watch this God inspired redemption of a fatherless boy named David and his journey with Real Pain and Real Restoration.

Celebrating 10 years of impact through Fathers in the Field this year, as the Founding Servant of this God-breathed ministry, I have been reflecting on God’s Word in the context of how it has made our outreach so unique – in spite of a tail spinning culture that seeks to destroy families, make the Church seem like a joke, and demonize strong, healthy, and biblical masculinity in America.

Courage and Commitment is at the core of our pushing back against the vicious attacks on the next generation of Pastors, Providers and Protectors of God’s Holy Word, His Truths and His divine plan for families.

Courage

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (ESV)

It is not easy to be dependent on others – whether it be for financial support, prayer, volunteerism, or for the acceptance and integration within a church. That said, we will never cease to be courageous in standing up to opposition and critique, to advancing into community battle zones, and to putting our own fear and comfort aside on behalf of reaching and rescuing every single fatherless boy.

Heroism

“Then David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and courageous and do it. Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, for the Lord God, even my God, is with you. He will not leave you or forsake you, until all the work for the service of the house of the Lord is finished.” 1 Chronicles 28:20 (ESV)

Even as we believe it is our call to connect with hundreds of Christian churches and to create a lifeline between thousands of Mentor Fathers and fatherless boys, we would do it all for just ONE BOY.

As the shepherd left the 99 for the one, so too we are laser-focused on each fatherless boy, on his needs, his heart, and his soul. This is vital to the authenticity that can break the cycle of generational fatherlessness forever – and by extension impact hundreds or thousands of people over each fatherless boy’s lifetime.

Like we need our Savior’s love and grace, fatherless boys desperately need heroes. Each of us have an important role in the fulfillment of our sacred mission. The fatherless need you.

Gratitude

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.” Psalm 138:7 (ESV)

We are so grateful for your financial generosity and partnership! It is the bedrock upon which this ministry is built and the fuel that allows us to reach and rescue more fatherless boys every year.

The Great American Rescue Mission Begins!

Finally, it is with a recognition of your loyal support and a humility that comes only from serving the King of Kings together that I ask that you consider a special gift to the ministry at the end of this year. Beginning in January 2020, we are embarking upon a new and bold expansion of Fathers in the Field that we call The Great American Rescue Mission™.

As thrilled as we have been by consistent organic growth and the engagement with local churches over the past decade, to keep pace with the exponential spread of fatherlessness in America, we must accelerate our response and aim to gain a righteous foothold IN EVERY CHURCH, IN EVERY STATE™ in our nation.

Towards those ends, while we simultaneously support our current missionaries and ministry activity, we are faithfully rallying the financial support to scale the Spirit’s great work and leverage Fathers in the Field’s effective ministry model.

Heroes like you have propelled this ministry thus far, and we pray you’ll continue to work with us as we see Fathers in the Field’s impact fully through to its tremendous potential.

Fathers in the Field’s best and most impacting years are ahead.

Thank you for being a Hero to the fatherless!

Founding Servant
